WRITING THE RESEARCH PROPOSAL
The objective of the research proposal is to provide background information and the reason for conducting your study.

Students will be able to write a research proposal as per accepted professional standards. For this course, it will be APA format.

Requirement Details
A. Write a cover page. It must include a header, running head, the title of the project, your name, and the institution to whom you are submitting the proposal. (See Lester p.323)
B. Write a paragraph of 50 to 120 words. It must be a background of your project.
a. Write a sentence stating the topic. Provide a clear and precise research question
b. Write 1-2 sentences stating the purpose of the project
c. Write 2-6 sentences explaining a background to your topic
C. Write a paragraph of 4- 6 sentences stating your rationale, i.e. your reason for doing the project; why your topic is important or worthy to be researched.
D. Write a paragraph of 3 8 sentences describing your research methods.
E. Write a paragraph of 4 6 sentences identifying a minimum of three topics you plan to include in your project.
F. Include a list of at least THREE references.
Assessment:
