Servant Leadership
In James Hunters The Worlds Most Powerful Leadership Principle, he provides insight into the world of leadership and how leaders are supposed to be, both as a person and a figure of authority. This insight is drawn from his experience of more than two decades in the American corporate sector. He lays great emphasis in servant leadership because, according to him, it is the most powerful way of achieving success in being a leader. I have been working as a Practice Manager at the UCF Community Care Center. During the short practice period, I have found myself in situations where my I have had to perform my roles and responsibilities as a leader at the center. This essay will relate the principles of servant leadership as described by Hunter to my work experience as a Practice Manager. It will try to show how these principles may have influenced some of the decisions I made as a leader.
