Write a strategic analysis of McDonalds organization

Chose: McDonalds

Students will produce an individual strategic analysis of one of the following organizations using secondary sources of information only:
McDonalds, Tesco, Costa, Zara, Manchester Utd, Nike

The strategic analysis should be written and structured in report style using an appropriate referencing convention, table of contents, list of figures, diagrams, appendices etc. It should include the following sections;
I. Executive summary
II. Environmental analysis
III. Resources analysis
IV. Future recommendations and justification including an appraisal of stakeholder and ethical issues
Within the above sections, students are expected to select appropriate tools and frameworks.

you need to seperate the SWOT analysis into Environmental analysis and Resources analysis. you need to use oppourtunity and threats in environmental analysis, and use strength and weakness in resources analysis. you don’t need to analysis them individualy, you need to use opportuinty and threats to analysis what you write for environmental analysis, for example you use PESTEL in Environmental analysis, then you should find out in PESTEL what is positve for McDonald’s and what is negative, if it is positive, you need to write in opportunity, if it is negative, you need to write in threat. For Resources analysis is the same, after you use different tools to analysis the resources, write the positive things in strength, negative things in weakness.
