Women have faced a lot of challenges in the past ranging from social, economic and

political considerations. This has made several men and women activists to raise their voice and

be able to defend the women in order to gain equality (Advisers, 2014). The issue of equality and

human rights has been a challenge all over the world with women discrimination being the order

of the day. This has been a great challenge in most countries to the women limiting their

participation even in the work force. The de-motivation that these women undergo discourages

them to a point of giving up and concentrating to the home and family chores (Devi, 2012). This

was the case even in Australia where the women in this country have faced numerous challenges

in the past.
