Description

Find and read two articles from within the last 5 years (from newspapers or journals or magazines, or a combination of any of these) on a subject relating to women in American culture. Articles should not both be on the same topic.

Write an analytic essay on each article, discussing the techniques the author uses: ethos, pathos, logos, emotive language, priming, framing, repetition, or other devices you notice.

Be sure to include : What is the explicit message? What is the implicit message? How does the organization affect the message? Use quotes to illustrate your claims.

Each analysis is required to be approx. 350-450 words (800 words total).
