Following a clinical conference, a student was very upset at her evaluation. She attempted to grab the evaluation form from her clinical instructor stating, “I am going to make a copy of this.” Her instructor placed her hand gently on the student’s arm and stated, “You certainly have a right to a copy, I will make you one right now.” She made the student a copy and gave it to her. A few days later the instructor received a notice from an attorney that the student was suing her.
