At the beginning of the semester, I had you write a paper on why geography matters to you and your career, but at the time, we had only covered the introduction to the

course.  Now, with all the information that we have learned throughout the semester, I want you to write a 1-2 page paper on Why Geography Matters to You

incorporating information from our course, discussions, lectures, and our book.  The better papers will include the information from the different topics areas we

covered in class (you can leave conflict out).  The areas are Natural Resources and the Environment,  Population, Economic Processes,  Information & Technology, and

Politics & Governance.   Look back over your notes and connect that information to your own lives and your own career paths.  You can also connect information from any

of your writing assignments as well from this semester.
