Unit Map and Comprehensive narrative

Unit Map and Comprehensive narrative
Mapping History, Language Arts and Character Education

Develop a Unit Map PowerPoint, like the example provided, as an outline of how you will integrate Science, History, Language Arts, and Bible/Character Education with a chosen topic.

This is to be of such quality as to be enlarged and placed on your classroom wall as a visual illustration of what the unit is about and how the unit will be completed.

Additionally, develop a comprehensive narrative (containing all necessary parts of the Integrated Lesson Plan) of each area (using the included template for each subject) explaining how you will use this three-subject material in the development of the Unit.

Diverse backgrounds (race, SES, gender, ethnicity, language):
Special needs (ED, LD, MR, gifted, other):
What are the objectives of this lesson?
Why did you choose these objectives? (indicate standards)
What content do you plan to cover and what activities do you plan to use?
Why did you choose this particular content and these activities? (relate to standards and diversity)
What materials do you plan to use? (cite sources)
Why did you choose these materials? (relate to standards and diversity)
Comprehensive Narrative
Be able to complete these questions for each activity chosen. You do not need to complete this form for your science activities.
