Unit 3 Essay Question: The authors in this chapter engage this question: What is power? In its obvious forms, the use of power often looks like physical coercion. For example, one can use threats of bodily injury to command behavior. There are other forms of coercion equally as controlling that our authors expose here: power as ?psychological and emotional manipulation? used to strip individuals of integrity, dignity, and the power to stand up for themselves? (Yagelski 428). Write an essay of at least three pages in length where you consider ?concepts of power? You can come up with one or more concepts of your own, or reflect on the concepts that emerge or are redeveloped in the readings.
