Geographic and environmental factors have a significant influence on the development of trade and migration networks. Those networks and migration patterns ultimately lead to connections between divergent peoples and cultures. Thus, geography and resources have an influence on the development of and interaction between societies.
During your study of the geography and the development/diffusion of human society theme, you have encountered a number of examples that illustrate the influence and connections of societies.
In this task, you will be required to identify two environmental/geographic factors that you consider to be the most significant to the development or expansion of the United States, as well as one environmental/geographic factor that you consider to be the most significant to the development or diffusion of one other human society.
Task:
A. Justify your choice of the two most significant environmental or physical geographic factors that contributed to the development or expansion of the United States.
B. Justify your choice of the one most significant environmental or physical geographic factor that contributed to the development of one human society from the following list:

1. Discuss one example of cultural, technological, economic, or environmental diffusion between the society you addressed in Part B and another society of your choosing.
