Design a total rewards program for Starbucks. Provide the research findings in a report of at least 10 pages plus a title page, reference page, and appendix documents including implementation timeline and metrics. Provide at least eight sources (in APA format) in a reference list and respective in-text citations. You will do the following: 1. Summarize and describe the organization, including its key goals, objectives, challenges, values, and core competencies required for success. 2. Show knowledge of the total rewards model by describing the current total rewards philosophy and its three categories of offerings. 3. Identify and describe the segmentation of the workforce (we study how to differentiate employee groups depending on their drivers, such as flexible schedules, growth potential, desire for demonstrating individual expertise or team success, low obligation and easy income, or high obligation and high income). 4. Describe further the current requisite competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities) and, in your opinion, an analysis of whether the current needs will change given the issues faced by the organization. 5. Recommend changes to the total rewards program, along with specific plans, including plans for communicating the changes and metrics that should be used by the organization to evaluate the success of the new program. 6. Present the justification for your recommendations. 7. Assess and discuss the risks of not implementing the program and the opportunities the program will give the organization. 8. Provide your metrics for evaluating the total rewards program. 9. Present a timeline for implementation. 10. Evaluate and assess the current situation and determine/describe whether the current total rewards program is sufficient to meet the needs of the future or if it needs to change. Justification for your determination is required along with the ramifications of doing nothing. 11. Evaluate employee segmentationwhether the current rewards are attracting those employees offering the needed knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs). If they are not, name those segments of the labor market who might possess the needed KSAs and whom the organization should try to attract. The authentic assessment project requires you to build on the knowledge gained through the prior research project. In a paper about 10 pages in length, (the 10 pages includes cover page, reference page and timeline) summarize your research findings, then assess whether the organization is prepared with its current total rewards program to meet the needs and challenges of the future. Then, propose a total rewards program that will meet the organizations challenges and provide the ability to attract, retain and motivate workers who possess the competencies for the organization to attain success. Proper headings and organization of thought are expected throughout the paper.
