Scenario- i had a work placement at the sports city london company and have to consider how their human resources was covered.
Critique the company’s human resources strategy, policies and procedures including recruitment, selection, induction and training and development.
i.e- what works well and why? what doesnt work well and why?,
then have a RECOMMENDATIONS SUBHEADING: discussing what would you make in order to improve their human resources (hr) policies, procedures and practices.
Take in consideration what was my experience being in their and how was things conducted, selected and developed
the strategies of how they conduct is below:
– THEY USE COUNCIL AND OTHER SPORT ENGLAND AND OTHER WEBSITES TO ADVERTISE THE SPECIFIC VACANCIES,
-MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB- LEVEL 2 IN COACHING AND A DBS CHECK (WHICH IS A CHECK ON WHETHER YOU CAN WORK WITH KIDS)
-TRAINING AND INDUCTION- THIS TAKES PLACE WITH THE HEAD COACH WHICH IS 20 HOURS OF TRAINING
-INTERVIEWS-DEPENDS ON THE SUITABILITY FOR THE ROLE, THEY LOOK AT THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE PERSON (WHAT THEY LOOK TO DO AFTER, WHATS THEIR CAREER ASPIRATIONS)
