Order Description

Paper #2: Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mixed Methods (worth 10% of the final grade)

In 3 €“ 5 pages double spaced (Times New Roman font size 12 or Ariel font size 11 only) not
including cover page and references page, discuss ALL of the points delineated below. A
minimum of 2 academic journal references must be used and no more than 1 web site.
  Discuss similarities and differences that exist between qualitative and quantitative
studies.
  Describe advantages and disadvantages are of each approach.
  Describe techniques of quantitative data collection and list situations in which
quantitative studies may be useful as part of an evaluation strategy.
  Describe techniques of qualitative data collection and list situations in which qualitative
studies may be useful as part of an evaluation strategy.
  Describe different mixed methods approaches and discuss the benefits/advantages of
this approach.

Your paper must be formatted according to 6th edition of the APA Manual. Citing the textbook
and the PPT slide provided by me may be done but will not be counted as fulfilling the 2-academic journal citation requirement.  The paper is to draw upon the course textbook,
additional assigned readings, and student research.  Ultimately, it is to reflect your conclusions
based on your work.
