Given what you know regarding the effects of the psychoactive substances, what do you think the social policy should be regarding legalizing some or all of the substances, or making illegal the ones that are legal?

2. discusses addiction, and how it has been applied to many other types of behavior, such as internet addiction, sexual addiction, etc. Recognizing the validity of substance abuse as an addiction, are these other types of behaviors (workaholic, shopaholic, sexual addiction, internet addiction, etc), the same type of addiction? What are your thoughts on this?
