theme of three pomes

Choose one major theme in Bridget Keating’s Red Ceiling and write an essay of approximately
1000 words (4 pages) in which you use THREE individual poems to illustrate / explore the theme
you have chosen.
Your introductory paragraph must name the title and author of the work your essay examines
and must contain a thesis statement.
Your thesis (your argument) must be supported by specific, detailed evidence in the form of
properly formatted quotations, which you will then cite in your Works Cited list at the end of
the essay; quotations and Works Cited list must be documented in MLA format.
