Unit 3: Research Paper on The Story of the Human Body

Pretend that you are a biologist. Then write a 1,400-word research paper (4-5 pages double spaced). Discuss a statement from The Story of the Human Body regarding how the human body functions and why it works that way. Support this statement or challenge its merits. Structure your essay around a thesis to prove your argument and support it with legitimate evidence and provide clear analysis.This essay is worth 200 points.

1. Define and introduce the issue using library/database sources
2. Facts and evidence using library/database sources to illustrate the importance of your issue
3. Analysis and explanation of the issue.
4. At least 2 citations from The Story of the Human Body in MLA format
5. At least 2 citations (summaries or quotes) from legitimate outside sources in MLA format
6. Essays are due at the beginning of class. You must print it out and turn in on time.
7. You must staple your draft(s) behind your final essay.
8. On the last page of your final essay, you must specify your word count.
