The feasibility of fleet trucks & buses to switch from diesel to 100% natural gas here in Qatar

With the vision of 2030, Qatar has made a commitment to be a leading country in research and development excellence and innovation. Building and maintaining a competitive and expanded market and also conserving and improving their natural resources (Natural Gas) with huge environmental concerned is just one of the long term goals. According to QF R&D strategies (1), these can be achieved through ”developing the knowledge base and technology required to enhance the recovery and processing. Establishing a basic and applied research program in Natural Gas conversion to higher value products has also been considered ,as well as Developing technologies that offer to expand the global market for natural gas”.
One of the ongoing implantation here in Qatar is to convert fleet trucks & buses to be work on natural gas.
