The Evolution of Human Mating The purpose of writing the article was to elaborate the human principle and to show how it has extended. This help in understanding of the human mating showing how both sexes display short and long terms mating tactics. The article shows the tendency of men displaying short term while women showing long term mating. It also put emphasis on how both men and women have developed mixed strategies on short term and long term mating (Gangestad & Simpson 2000).
