The assessment will be a 2000 word essay on a topic in cognitive psychology (60%) and
a multiple choice examination on biological psychology (40%). The pass mark for the
examination is 40%. The deadline for the essay is 12 noon prompt on Tuesday
12th April 2016 (week 9). The essay questions for 2016 are:
1. Critically evaluate the activation monitoring account of false memory using research
evidence from the DRM paradigm.
Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct
In accordance with the university policy on plagiarism and academic misconduct (see
School Student Handbook), any form of cheating will be dealt with very seriously and
may be awarded a mark of zero. Students who are believed to have committed academic
misconduct will also be required to discuss the matter with an Academic Conduct Officer.
