next week’s study.  In week 2, Module 2- focus is on Business and Government. You will pay attention and examine the nexus between corporate behavior and government

regulation and you will explore the impact on commercial activities by local, state, and federal governments.

Learning Outcomes for Module 2 include:

1. Explore methods by which the government encourages or constricts competition in the private sector

2. Examine contemporary policy approaches to managing the economy, including traditional economic theory, supply-side economics, and the role of budget deficits

3. Understand the construction of fiscal policy in the United States and its influence and impact upon spending, taxes, and the deficit
