Genes can be affected by conditions surrounding them. Often the response to these conditions takes time. In this week’s discussion, talk about the following:

1. Search the literature and/or WEB sites to find an example of evolutionary change in an animal, insect or plant.
2. Discuss what the change was and what was accomplished by the change.
3. Include in your discussion the length of time it took for the change to come into recognition.
