Length of Assignment – 4-6 pages double spaced 12 pt. font (this doesn’t include your cover page and resource page)

Choose 2 non profit organizations (small or medium sized).  You will be choosing an organization that accepts donations, has a board of directors and is a not for profit.  Do not choose a global organization.  Please look at organizations in Ontario – preferably Hamilton but it’s OK to go outside of this area.

Look at how they are using social media. Do you think their social media choices will attract donors?  Would you want to donate to these organizations based on their social media?  What could they do differently?  What’s working? What isn’t?

Imagine you have some money to donate and you are investigating through social media where you can make a difference. 

Start with their website and go from there..

Note:  the two organizations do not have to be from the same sector and you are not comparing Agency A with Agency B – and whether one is better than the other.  Just do two separate critiques on the agencies.  Investigate and analyze!  Include two academic sources to support some of your findings.  I just need you to tie in these two sources – even a couple of sentences from each source to support what you are finding.
