The student will write a five-page paper summarizing a topic concerning the history of American thought, based on the reading of two books by modern historians about that subject, and including a short bibliography featuring these books.  The student will be penalized five points for every day the paper is late.  Emailed submissions so NO plagiarism will be detected!
