Should we offer sex education among the teenagers?

You are to select a topic directly related to sexually transmitted diseases that has two opposing positions.  Some examples of topics are:

Identify 3 articles from scholarly journals to use as your main references.
READ THESE ARTICLES.

####Your final paper should include the following four sections####

I      A brief introduction to your topic and why it is important.  You should briefly explain that there are two opposing positions, and the basic structure of your paper.

II  and III:  Offer thorough discussion of both sides of the topic, citing supporting sources.  Organize your paper so that you discuss one side, then transition to discussing the opposite view.  Be sure to offer a fair and unbiased discussion, and then make a case for one side or the other based on evidence.  You should be citing reputable sources throughout.

IV  Summary of your position based on the evidence presented and brief suggestions.

A FULL rough draft is due in class 5/14 for a peer review activity.

•    The paper should be 3 pages (not counting Title page and Bibliography page), Times New Roman font, double-spaced, 12 font, 1” margins, using proper grammar and spelling, citing your sources throughout the paper. You will use APA format for your paper.
