Assignments 1

Within the course, we have considered the various paradigms (positivist, post-positivist, interpretive/constructivist, and critical theoretical) that are positioned along the continuum representing a range of quantitative and qualitative research design options.

To complete the requirements of Assignment 1:
· Choose a paradigm consistent with the quantitative tradition;

· Briefly describe the paradigm;

· Develop and present a research question that is philosophically compatible with the paradigm;

· Describe the relevant methodology or technique that will address the question; and

· Discuss the ways in which the methodology is consistent with the epistemological and ontological objectives of the paradigm.
