  • S- Specific- simple to understand
  • M-measurable-we set goals that are easy to evaluate
  • A-achievable-our goals are attainable
  • R-results oriented- we focus to the outcome
  • Time bound-we adhere to the set deadlines (Iigen and Kozlowski, 2006)
