Social change efforts exist on a continuum from personal actions to global movements. As a student, you are part of a community of scholars dedicated to making the world a better place by advocating for positive change in your professions and communities. Explore the conflux of counseling and psychopharmacology. Identify areas in which clients could benefit from these efforts. Consider problems that you personally feel compelled to solve. What challenges will you face in trying to address these issues? How can you anticipate and respond to these challenges? Which real-world organizations align with your vision for change and how could they provide resources to assist you in solving the issue?

For this Final Project, call to mind issues encountered through this course or your own personal or professional experiences that you have a desire to address. Identify an area for potential social change that involves the intersection of psychopharmacological treatment and the counseling profession. Your choices may include something that is currently occurring in your community, a given population, identified in media, controversies in scholarly journals, or for any given diagnosis. Investigate online and in the School Library to select full-text, peer-reviewed articles to support your plan. You may also consider interviewing an identified expert in the field
