PROFESSIONAL LAW AND ETHICS
Ethics refers to a set of moral principles that set to govern an person or a group of people over
the behavior that is generally acceptable. Internet ethics therefore refers to the acceptable
behavior while using the internet. (Kinkead, 2013)Users of the internet must understand that the
Web is a place where the moral values are considered and should be maintained at the highest
sense since this is a platform that so many people all over the world share information. However
in the past internet has been abused where even crimes have been conducted by the internet
usage. One of the main factor that has been abused through the use of the internet is privacy and
confidentiality. (Gunning, Holm, & Kenway, 2014)There is no single mode of communication
that is 100% efficient and private. The e-mails can be sent to wrong recipients while personal
information can be accessed through the social networks such as facebook, twitter and others.
