Project: gunsmoke_proj1_shel
Cut: gunsmoke_cut1_shel
Length: 1:30 – 1:45

The object of this final project is to cut a scene from the given footage and to do it in a manner

that best utilizes the footage, and creates a dramatic story.
Sound effects are to be used to enhance the fight sequence. Please make a standard scene like one

would expect to see on television. Please create dramatic pauses and overlap shots for reactions if

it works. A cut which has reactions and good timing not one where there are no overlaps of picture,

and every edit is a straight cut matched with the sound. First breakdown the scenes to smaller

subclips , and possibly use markers to identify specific lines or shots . After make a rough

assembly of the scene, and then duplicate that sequence and then load the new sequence

(gunsmoke_cut1.1_shel) and cut it down to length. Add in the sound effects for the fight scene, and

mix the audio levels so that they feel like they belong to the scene.
