Any personal opinions you have should be supported by literature reviewed in the paper. IV. References Use APA (any edition) to reference articles and/or books used throughout the paper. Also use APA style to cite references used throughout the body of the paper. Rules to follow in formal writing assignments: 1) Do not use slang; 2) Do not end a sentence with a preposition (i.e., of, with, to, etc.); 3) do not use contractions (i.e., can’t, don’t, won’t, etc.)
