Understanding the history of the profession is important so that you can relate present issues to those of the past. It’s also important to recognize the people and

ideas that influenced the field of interior design in its early history. This assignment will spotlight the designers who were significant in the shaping of the

interior design profession.

Assignment Description

You will select one significant person in the history of the interior design profession and create a visual presentation that outlines the role that person played in

shaping the profession.

1.From your textbook and lecture readings or other research, please select one significant person in the history of the interior design profession. Research that

person and make a note of contributions the person made to the profession.
2.Create a visual presentation with images and text that outlines the role that the person played in shaping the profession. The presentation should consist of a

minimum of five slides or pages with source citations for all text and images in MLA format. Remember to also place the course name and number, week, assignment

number, and your name at the top of the first slide.
