Option 1: Create a digital version of a Tactical Games Model Unit
•Choose one of these 4 TGM areas:
Striking& fielding
Invasion Games
Target games
Net & Wall games

• Written Unit summary statement (1-2 pages, single spaced, outline style)-Unit goals, tactics addressed, etc.
• Create 5 lessons that include (You will not be writing FULL lesson plans):
o A summary sheet that explains the lesson goals (outline style)
o An “initial game”-modified, unique ways to score, unique rules and roles
o A set of guided discovery questions
o A situational practice
 Include refinements, skill cues, corrections
 Detailed description of the situational practice
o A “return to game” activity-Connected to both the initial game and the developing student skill and tactical awareness
• Minimum of 2 digital resources per lesson
o digital resource should involve images, animation, and any other digital media (i.e. PowerPoint)
• Organized well so that any Physical Education teacher could use these resources to teach this unit (i.e. folders labeled well, files labeled well, summary document that serves as a sort of “table of contents”)
