Order Description
The concept of neoliberalism is central to discussions about globalisation and new directions in educational policy. Educational policy analysts, such as Lingard, argue that in order be able to critique national educational policy, we need to understand its relationship to global neoliberalism.

Critically reflect upon this argument by doing the following:

1. Briefly explain some of the key features of neoliberalism discussed in the readings and the lecture. (I will upload them)

2. Pick ONE key feature of neoliberalism and provide some in depth understanding of this feature of neoliberalism from the lecture

3. Critically reflect on the degree to which global neoliberalism influences educational policy developments in your national context? What are the social, political and/or ethical implications of these policy developments for your professional practice?
