Multi-vary analysis
IX. Analyze. Specific review/prerequisite knowledge for this assignment includes basic statistics. In 1 or more pages each, research and prepare the following. Think of them as essays or mini-reports. Summarize the data collection, analysis, and interpretation of each of the following. Provide the output (whether calculated by hand or software). For at least one of them (a-e) use real data (you will need it for the next assignment). If the data are appropriate, you can use one data set for all of the following, but you don’t have to (you can use completely different data for each). Graduate students have to use real for at least “b” and “f.”
a. Multi-vary analysis.
b. Regression. Undergrads can do one IV. Grad students have to use more than one IV.
c. t-test (either one-sample, independent, or dependent; just one of them).
d. One-way ANOVA. Use at least a 3-level IV.
e. Chi Square.
f. Two-way ANOVA. Use at least 2 IVs, each with at least 2 levels. Use real data for this and “b.”
