This is a general graduate school admission personal statement. I want to discuss why I want to go to the school to purse an advanced degree, current trends in the field, and how the MSN (masters in Nursing) MBA (masters in Business Administration) degree will help me purse future jobs in the field. The advanced degree will teach me how to focus on the administrative aspects of working in the medical field, with emphasis on leadership, organization, communication, and team-building skills. Im interested in learning how to adapt business and nursing theory to discover financially, ethically, and medically sound healthcare solutions and contribute to public and private health policy. With a thorough understanding of nursing practice and fundamental business concepts, Ill become effective and resourceful in analyzing and addressing managerial problems in healthcare settings
