Monogamy and Marriage

Monogamy and Marriage

Last summer there was an interesting article in the New York Times magazine about marriage and monogamy that quoted extensively from Dan Savage. The article proposed that perhaps more marriages (and thus the family units that many believe are so important for rearing healthy children) could be preserved if Americans started considering alternatives to monogamy in marriage. Should more Americans in long-term relationships consider alternatives to monogamy is my question to you? Your audience is a group of UTSA’s faculty from across disciplines.
