This is my thesis for interior design. I chose 3 topics to work with which are: (Symmetry, Sublime&Beautiful and Human Catharsis) My program is to redesign a 1992 huge house with an amazing view and private beach in a residential zone into 2 villas.

The idea is the uses to be rented like a hotel with all services included. It can be consider a hospitality project.

My kind of idea of a thesis statement is that in nature symmetry is most of the time associated with beauty.

In Aesthetics, something that give pleasure is divided into two, the sublime and the beautiful. Therefore, theses two combined can create a cathartic emotion.

My intention is to create this retreat so visitors can have catharsis and learn how to practice catharsis that is something everyone needs in their daily life to deal with stress etc.Achieving the sublime with design is really hard and it can totally change the perspective view of design in the world if it is achieve.
