In my submission, I started with mentioning the position that was available at the Non-Stop Messenger ServiceI mentioned our close friendship since we were at the university until now that we work in different places and her qualities such as integrity and commitment. In addition, I gave instances of her proved hard work. Hence, my submission was close to the one outlined here.

However, I did not give instances where her integrity wasproved, such as dealing with corruption as mentioned in this submission. I also did not mention personal concerns such as putting meals at the right time and planning her sleep time. I was able to strategize what De la Penda was most interested in through reading his letter thoroughly and researching on what the position of a courier requires most. I analyzed Kathryn’s qualifications and experience and then looked at the position’s requirements and the responsibilities she would have to undertake. I drew out two columns, one for employer’s requirement, and another one showing what Kathryn could offer and did a reality check. After conviction that Kathryn could meet the requirements, I recommended her to De la Penda.

In the case of Kathryn not being a good fit for the job due to the threatening situations mentioned, I told de la Penda that she could explain better to them whether she needed additional or special training to assist her handle the situations better. I gave room for her negotiations with the employer, which I thought would assist her to prove her worth further.
