While the standard view of the Krebs cycle is two carbon entering (acetyl CoA) and two carbons leaving (carbon dioxide) each round, other substrates enter and leave at different points as well.  What are the connecting pathways for each of the Krebs cycle substrate with a connection outside of the cycle? Include how the main entry point is regulated and under what cell conditions the other substrates might be added or removed from the cycle.
