Kleos in the Odyssey

What physical and emotional/psychological strengths of Odysseus emerge in the epic? What weaknesses are laid bare? Does he come to recognize these strengths and weaknesses in himself, and what virtues or failings does he perceive in others? How does his leadership manifest itself and when does it endanger his kleos (the glory, or renown which should persist long after his death)? How do divinities and mortals (and even their apparitions), regard Odysseus both for his feats at Troy and for his tireless quest for his nostos (his return to Ithaca and his beloved Penelope), an essential precondition for forging an imperishable kleos. Draw specific examples from the text to support your conclusions.
