kinds of IT (hardware and software)

kinds of IT (hardware and software)

Paper instructions:
Then think about the kinds of IT that you might acquire in the next two years. Ask yourself:
a. What kinds of IT (hardware and software) you will need for business or practical purposes.
b. What kinds of IT (hardware and software) that you would like, but don’t need for business or practical purposes.
This is a “must have / nice to have” exercise. You are to determine what you really need, and make a distinction between essential IT acquisitions and those that are great to own and play with, but not needed for practical purposes. Of course there are “grey areas” here, too, and they are worth taking into account.
When you have figured what you need and what you can live without, write a memo of 500 words or less. Tell me about the IT you will need, and that which you’d enjoy owning, but don’t need. You may include details regarding brands, models, versions, and price ranges.
Use a standard memo format for your memos. Make sure that you include “Memo to / From / Date / Re” at the top, and feel free to use point form. Be clear and concise. Use your imagination.
