Ishinomaki Theory
This is a theory regards to the recent tsunami that struck Ishinomaki, Japan on March 2011. The purpose of the paper is to come up with a concept (ideas) of investigating ways to improve Ishinomaki using examples from the 21st century and the 19th-20th century around the world that could incorporate to Ishinomaki (re)development. And by providing an abstract and concept of the following four points: (a) the question of industrial and activity examples, (b) compare and contrast the 20th century urban design between Japan and the West, (c) architectural techniques for urban waterfronts such as the flood, and ports, (d) dutch waterfronts such as the Dubai waterfronts architecture and other contemporary dutch waterfronts.
