Incident management involves logging, recording, as well as, finding solutions to the incidents that occur. Incidences interrupt service delivery, thus incident management should aim at restoring the interrupted service back to the customer with immediate effect (). In most of the circumstances, incidences are disastrous to an extent that a permanent solution cannot be found immediately. In such instances, a temporary solution is advised. An incident is identified by its nature of having an immediate effect to the service users. The Occupational Safety & Administration Act outlines that employers should record and report all the incidences-injuries, fatalities and illnesses that occur in the workplace. In this paper, an incident control log for the Information and Technology Department of a hospital is developed. In addition, an injury log for the same department is developed.
