Do you believe there are some things that science should not explore or do you believe that we should be unlimited in our freedom to investigate the natural world? Do you believe that science itself is value-free or not? Is the connection between science and technology a necessary connection? Should our ideas about a particular type of technology affect or limit the research that might be used to develop that technology? Should we ever limit or prevent the public from accessing the results of scientific research? Should we ever limit or prevent science from being taught to children? Is it appropriate to use the results of scientific investigation to influence our ideological beliefs? Is it appropriate to allow our ideological beliefs to influence scientific investigation?
