HRM concentrates on the planning, monitoring and control aspects of resources whereas Personnel Management was largely about mediating between the management and employees (Mullins, 2007)
You are an advisor for the senior management team (SMT) of a multinational organisation, which reports to the Chairman of the organisation.
Keeping in view this quote as an organisational researcher, you are required to prepare and present a 10 minutes Individual presentation, addressing the questions raised in the following two tasks related.
It is advisable that using an example of a suitable company of your choice will help you prepare your presentation in a better way.
Task One: Learning Outcome 1)
¢ Distinguish between personnel management and human resource management, whilst evaluating the role and responsibilities of line managers in human resource management.

Task Two: (Learning Outcome 4)
¢ Use appropriate example to identify the reasons for cessation of employment with an organisation and describe the employment exit procedures. You must consider the impact of the legal and regulatory framework on employment cessation arrangements
