(( Public organizations supply services to the public, and don’t compete with other organizations for profit. Public organizations are usually run by the government and provide services that usually are not profitable for a private organization.
Private organizations provide their service for profit. Private organizations are ran by executives that have a common goal in mind, to make money and stay in business))))

(( Public and private organizations have several similar components however there are a few key factors that distinguish them. Public organizations would include but not limited to fire departments, law enforcement, public works, or the forest service. Private organizations are the grocery stores, entertainment facilities, etc.
You could say that public organizations usually provide a service free of charge to the end user, where as a private organization has a product or service that the user pays for directly. This creates a different way of providing services. Although public services are funded by taxpayers it creates a different way of providing the service))))))
