Describe what weed species there are that could be detrimental to the production of the crop.
Name all weeds associated with the crop, then complete a more detailed description for three
(3) of these. For each of these three:
a. Name the weed species, giving botanical and common names
b. Outline the weeds characteristics including their life cycle, mature height and width,
seeding height
c. For each of the weeds described, outline the best methods of prevention and control
d. Evaluate how successful the weed regime might be and give recommendations to
ensure success. For example: staff training, diaries, record keeping, monitoring, traps,
etc.

causes the most damage for the chosen crop
