history of education
Imagine that you are given the opportunity to create your own school district. You have one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. You may have as many or as few students attend your school system as you wish. In addition, you are provided with unlimited resources and may base the foundation of your school system on any philosophical underpinning (or combination of philosophical underpinnings) you so desire. In a three- to five-page paper, identify on which philosophy, combination of philosophies, or model you would base the curriculum and instructional foundation of the school. Describe the philosophy, philosophies, or model and explain why this would serve as the best way to structure the school system. Consider whether or not you would differentiate models between the elementary, middle and high school and explain why or why not.
