Topic: Gender Discrimination still largely exist in the modern work place.

Order Description
Thesis: Despite the changes made in the past years to bring equality to both sex, the lurking of discrimination for gender still exist in modern work place.
Assumptions:
-men are more likely to be used in a position compare to women who obtained the same skills and education.
-Men are still getting paid more over a period of time compare to women in the same work position
Questions:
1. What are the reasons behind the favoring of males in the work force?
2. Has females always receive unequal pay/treatment compare to men? Has the situation for female gotten better over the last decade or two?

These are just some elements that I want to have in my paper, of course there will be a lot more points that goes along with the topic.
Please also research and put in context, like male authors vs. female authors. Do more people buy books by men than by women? Why? Do men get more advance in terms of bonus checks/big deals for their novels than women writers? ( The main focus here is not male author vs female authors, I just would like this issue to be research and discuss)
