Paper details:
The summary is one of the basic building blocks of writing. A summary should always be roughly one-fourth the length of the original piece. The goal of a summary is to remain objective and convey the main points and supporting details of the original piece. Read “Passages from ‘The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain’ by Langston Hughes” on the bottom of page 50 to page 51 in your textbook. Summarize this piece and submit as a Microsoft Word document. Remember to include the author and the title of the piece in your summary. The summary should also include an in-text citation in APA as well as a reference to avoid plagiarizing.
